Artpace 2 to Watch: Justin Parr and Vincent Toro at Gemini Ink*
This collaborative program between Artpace and Gemini Ink pairs a visual artist and a writer in an evening of words and images, gathering literary and visual arts audiences for a critical discussion and examination of crossovers between the genres.

Justin Parr is a San Antonio-based artist, curator, and free-lance commercial photographer. Parr owns Fl!ght Gallery and his work has been exhibited city wide at art spaces such as: Blue Star Contemporary Art Center, One9zero6 Gallery, I2I Gallery, and Unit B Gallery.

Vincent Toro is a writer, performer, and educator who is the Theatre Arts Director at the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center. In 2004 Toro won the Global Rhythm Magazine’s Unsigned Artist of the Year Award for his song “Montserrat.”
